This was one of those lighthouses I never thought I would ever get to, and on the day I had arranged to go there it looked uncertain with fog between the St. John's helipad and Rathlin O'Birne. However it cleared enough for us to go there but it came down again for the return journey and we relied on the super skill of Capt. Mick Hennessy to get us safely back to St. Johns lighthouse. The main danger were the Slieve League cliffs, the highest in Ireland
