I took these pictures on my first visit to the Blacksod area. It rained on the day I drove up there and it rained on the day I returned hom, but the day I was up there taking the pictures it was fabulous. I spent the two nights at Brú Chlann Lir the best B&B in Mayo, so friendly and welcoming |

This lighthouse has a famous past, it was attacked by a German bomber in WW2 which shot out some panes of glass when going after the SS Macville. It is also supposed to be haunted. You wouldn't want to go sleepwalking with cliffs like these |
